Na Care Hotel — A New Build in Central Chaiyaphum with Big Rooms, Wood Floors and a Pool
Chaiyaphum doesn't get many new hotels, so when Na Care Hotel went up on the bypass road, locals took notice. It's a six-storey block painted orange and grey, clearly brand new, with 49 modern rooms — wood floors, large windows, a clean low-key look. The two things guests keep coming back to are rooms that feel bigger than the price suggests and a curving outdoor pool ringed with sculpted garden trees — not something you find often in a hotel at this rate in this town.
Na Care Hotel is a new property — a six-storey block in orange and grey, sitting on the bypass road about three minutes by car from the Robinson junction. There are 49 rooms split between Standard Double, Superior Double and Superior Twin. Every room runs the same clean, modern look: dark laminate wood floors and big windows, with an Android TV, a fridge, a work desk and a kettle. One nice touch is a yoga mat tucked into each room — in keeping with the hotel's wellness-leaning concept built around health and rest.
What guests praise most is the size. Several note the rooms feel larger than they expected at a low four-figure baht rate — easy to move around in, not cramped. Beds are soft, the linen is clean, and the bathroom is roomy with a separated wet area. One guest on a week-long stay mentioned getting a room with a separate sitting area, which suits longer visits. Worth flagging early: the bathroom lighting is on the dim side — a point several reviewers raise — so for detailed grooming or make-up you may end up relying on the vanity light instead.
I stopped here on a drive through Chaiyaphum and picked it partly because the photos looked genuinely new and partly because it had a pool — which is harder to find than you'd expect at this price point in this city. Pulling in, the car park out front is enormous: a wide open lot, no stress about fitting in, which matters when you've been driving all day. Check-in was quick and the staff at the desk were polite, explained everything clearly, and helped carry bags up in the lift — a small thing but not something you can take for granted at a rate like this. The room I had was a Superior Double on the fourth floor, interior side. First thing you notice: it's bigger than you expect. The dark laminate wood floor, the large window letting in good light, the layout — it just doesn't feel like a budget room. Bed is soft and the linen is clean with no smell. The TV is a decent flat screen with Android built in so you can pull up YouTube without fussing. There's a small fridge, a work desk wide enough to put a laptop and a bag side by side, and a kettle. A yoga mat was rolled up beside the bed, which is a nice touch and fits with the health-and-rest angle the hotel is going for. The bathroom is roomy, with a clear separation between the wet shower area and the dry side, plenty of towel rails, soft towels, and a big mirror. One honest note: the bathroom light is on the dim side, which a few other reviewers mention too — fine for a shower but not ideal for close-up grooming. At this price I didn't mind. Breakfast the next morning was in the dining room downstairs — wooden tables, chairs, bright and airy. The day I was there it was hot Thai dishes: rice porridge with pork, a fried egg, a rotating stir-fry side, plus self-serve toast with butter and jam. Solid for a hotel this size, enough food, no long wait. Coffee is instant Nescafé only — if you need proper brewed coffee you'll have to find a café in town, but for anyone who doesn't drink much coffee it's a non-issue. Mid-morning I went out to look at the pool. It's a curving blue-tiled pool with large landscaped trees planted around the edge and a small kids' pool off to the side. The water was clear and clean. The view beyond is open fields, with power lines visible in the distance — not a resort view, but stare at the pool and the trees and it photographs well. Quiet and uncrowded in the morning. Overall: new, clean, helpful staff, rooms that feel bigger than what you're paying for, a real outdoor pool, and a huge free car park. A very strong deal for anyone driving into Chaiyaphum on business or using the city as a base for Tat Ton Waterfall. I'd stay here again without hesitation next time I pass through.
The outdoor pool is what sets Na Care apart from a standard city hotel. It's a curving, blue-tiled pool with large landscaped trees around the edge and a separate kids' pool. The setting is open, looking out over fields behind, and late afternoon once the sun drops is a pleasant time to sit out. To be straight about it, you can see high-voltage power lines in the distance beyond the pool, so it isn't a resort-grade view — but the pool itself is kept clean and is a genuinely useful extra at this price.
Breakfast is included in the rate on almost every room type, served downstairs in a dining room of wooden tables with a small buffet counter. The menu is hot Thai dishes that rotate daily, with toast, butter and jam added on the side. Plenty of guests say breakfast is solid for a hotel this size. The one thing to accept is that coffee is instant Nescafé only — if you need proper brewed coffee, you'll be walking into town to find a café.
For anyone arriving by car the location works well, and the car park is large — an open lot out front, no jostling for a space. You're a few minutes from Robinson Chaiyaphum and the central business district, close to Nong Pla Thao public park and the walking street. For Tat Ton Waterfall and Tat Ton National Park, the headline draw in Chaiyaphum, it's roughly a 30–40 minute drive from here. The thing to know is that the hotel sits on the bypass road, so there aren't many restaurants within walking distance — you'll need to drive out a little.
The Trip.com score is 8.7/10 from 21 reviews. For a newly opened hotel without a long review history, that's a steady, good number. Guests consistently single out how new and clean it is, the room size, and staff who help carry bags up to the room. Beyond the dim bathroom light and the instant coffee, the other recurring note is traffic noise from the road for front-facing rooms — light sleepers should ask for an interior room. The drinks fridge at reception is also fairly limited in choice.
The bottom line: Na Care Hotel works best for anyone who wants a new, clean, spacious room in Chaiyaphum at an accessible price — whether you're in town on errands, breaking up a road trip, or using the city as a base for Tat Ton. The pool and the generous car park are extras that are hard to find at this rate. If you're travelling as a group and want two single beds, go for the Superior Twin; couples and solo travellers get the best value from the Superior Double with its king bed.
