How accurate are the marker positions?
Markers are placed approximately within each city's centre + small offset to avoid overlap. Use this for region overview, not exact navigation · each review page has the precise address + Google Maps embed.
Can I combine multiple filters?
Yes · all filters are AND. Pick a city + price tier + min score together. The top-right counter shows how many hotels pass the filter.
Why do smaller cities have fewer hotels?
These are real reviews · Taipei has 95 hotels (main hub) · second-tier cities 6-10 · islands (Penghu/Green/Orchid) 6-10 B&Bs. Not every hotel in a city — only ones Wherebest has reviewed and approved.
Are there city-specific maps too?
Each city page (e.g.
city-taipei) has its own map + attractions + night markets. This master map connects everything Taiwan-wide.
Will attractions and food be added?
Coming next · phase 2 adds 100+ attractions + 80+ markets/restaurants with a layer toggle. Hotels-first since the data is most complete with reliable coordinates.
