1
Getting to Saraburi

Driving is easiest — about 1.5 hours from Bangkok up the Phahonyothin Highway (Route 1). Trains and buses on the north-eastern (Isan) lines also stop here, but a car gives you the freedom to reach the fields and waterfalls.

2
Cash & PromptPay

Carry cash for farm stalls, markets and small restaurants. Cards and PromptPay QR work in hotels, larger cafés and petrol stations, and ATMs are easy to find in town.

3
Getting Around

A car or scooter is by far the best way to explore — the sights are spread across the province and public transport is limited. Grab is available in town; songthaews cover some local routes.

4
Stay Connected

Pick up a tourist SIM (AIS, TrueMove or dtac) before you arrive, or activate an eSIM at home. 4G/5G is solid in town and along the highways, though it can thin out in the hills.
